Dr Gill is very knowledgeable and great relationship with patients, and concerned and caring. However, everytime I have an appointment, they say he is running about 45 minutes late, but it is actually 2 hours! If the delay was the usual 15-20 minutes you normally see at a doctor's office I would recommend him in a heartbeat and give a 5 star rating. But several visits over a few years, even a video visit, have been 2+ hour wait. Everyone in the waiting area was talking about it, how they had been there for well over an hour and people arriving before them hadn't even been seen yet. I really hate giving a negative review, and he is really a nice and professional person, but I feel prospective clients should know. Now this has been my experience every single visit I have had, I cannot speak for other days. I suggest reading other reviews.

Finally Heard—A Neurology Home Worth the Wait I saw Nurse Practitioner Dr. King, and she was terrific. I felt heard. I felt like this might be a new place I can finally call my neurology home. When you’ve suffered from migraines since age seven, it’s hard to trust a new provider. Most want to change everything or add more to your regimen without understanding what’s already working. Dr. King didn’t do that. She listened. She respected the path I’ve been on. It took about a month and a half to get the appointment, but it was worth every bit of the wait. I didn’t feel dismissed. I wasn’t talked down to. I left feeling seen and validated. I also ran into Dr. Gill while checking out. He was helping another patient, and even in that brief moment, his tone carried genuine concern and empathy. I’m looking forward to meeting him officially. If you’re looking for a neurologist, please note that this is a specialized field. These appointments are not quick—and they shouldn’t be. Neurology requires in-depth consultation, and every patient has different needs. If you’re expecting things to happen quickly in any aspect of this process, it won’t. However, if you’re looking for genuine care, this team delivers. I did notice that when they refilled my meds even though I don't go back until November, I will have to request a refill every month. It's simply an extra step and is doable.

I think Dr. Gill is a good doctor, but the wait is ridiculous. I saw him yesterday, Friday and was there 4 hours. I feel like that is extreme and that something needs to be done to better plan appointment times so patients aren’t waiting for so long. And I will say it’s normal at his office for me to have a 2 hour wait which I think is too long.

Dr Gill and his PA Erica always ask a lot of questions about how I’m feeling and how the meds are working. I appreciate all the questions. I never feel rushed through my appointments. Everyone there , from Dr Gill to the front desk are all so nice too !

Dr. Gill is very thorough and takes time to explain the issues you are facing. He is very knowledgeable and tells you the positives and negatives of what you are dealing with. I would highly recommend him. The only negative thing I would mention is that at times you have to wait past your appointment time to see him, but that is probably a result the time he spends with each patient.

I neglected to see the registration link in my appointment email which I assume I could have clicked on to do all of the registration paperwork electronically. I therefore had to fill out paperwork in the office. I have a little complaint that this is done the old-fashioned way. There were something like 11 pages I had to fill out constantly entering the same information such as my name, date of birth, the date – a lot of things that could’ve been avoided if perhaps I had been provided with something like an iPad that would’ve made the process electronic and allow me to enter a lot of the information only one time.

Great Doc without a “rush ‘em through” practice.

I waited 45 minutes in the waiting room to wait another 45 minutes in the examination room. ! Way too long rushed to get there on time and not acceptable! At least with all the help someone should tell you there is a long wait! No one should go to a doctor to wait that long with no explanation! Doctor Gill spent all of 10 minutes with me! Sorry very sad.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gill's for quite a number of years now. He has not only treated me for migraines but for other issues I have as well. Dr. Paul Gill asked me many questions about my mental issues. He put me at ease and asked me appropriate questions. He responded to my questions in a friendly and professional manner.

This was for a EEG. I am disabled with spinal problems. Cannot lie flat. Not a single pillow or foam available. Spent 40 mins not moving head, with my big handbag under neck snd trash can under knees ( my suggestions owing to lack of help). Lass doing EEG efficient, courteous. Wish she had told me times as going along. Could barely move when finished, just told to take my time. Went home and lay down rest of day in misery. Will never have another EEG. Clinic staff in general and physician are great, would highly recommend. But take pillows with you for procedures.

I was expecting to see Dr Gill yesterday but was directed to his asst. But she was attentive and am scheduled for a NCS this week. Can't see Dr Gill now til February

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly. The waiting room is beautifully decorated, there are toys for children neatly in decorative baskets. The nurse and Dr. Gill listened to me and asked me questions about my previous diagnosis. Seems like it's something else. We both decided on a new medication.

I have been seeing Dr Gill for a number of years. I have a couple of medical conditions that can affect each other. Even though I see him for 1, he is aware and understands the others. He always asks not only about my reasons for seeing a neurologist but how the others are doing. He takes the time to discuss how I am doing and from time to time if I need anything changed or rechecked. The only negative thing is that he is usually behind what your scheduled appointment time is. But I know it is because of all he does during visits. I just plan on being there longer than what you might think. But I have found this to be true of most of my specialists but at least I know I’m getting one in one time with him and excellent care. I hope I never have to look for another neurologist for any reason. Notice I still give 5 stars despite the wait time.

I’ve been a patient of Doctor Gills since 2016. I was referred to him by my PCP Doctor Kumar. Doctor Gill found a tumor in my head and it was successfully removed. It was a benign meningioma. I have been his patient ever since. My appointments have always been informative. No complaints.

Waiting for a phone conversation for an hour was a bit inconsiderate for a patient.

Dr. Hill is a superior Dr in knowledge, experience and bedside manner. He is a wonderful listener and detective to figure out what was wrong with me: I have a very rare illness, Gillian-Barre Syndrome. He’s one of the top 10 neurologists in the USA. If you don’t know what’s wrong with you, then you should have him figure it out. He’s the best!

I have been seeing Dr. Gill for many years, the one thing I like most is that he lessons to you and makes eye contact the whole time you are with him. He doesn't push medication on you. He knows that you know your own body and we'll suggest what he thinks. You should do but ultimately, let's you make your own decision.

I was completely satisfied with my session. He answered all my questions. Provided some things about Dementia that was not aware of. I am following up with the instructions I was given and look forward to our next meeting July 24th

Dr. Gill did thorough testing to evaluate what was causing my migraines. After assessing my symptoms, I was put on a treatment plan that has reduced my migraine occurrences significantly! I can finally function without frequent pain!!!

Dr Gill is very attentive to my health status today and compares current health to condition of previous years. After many dr visits to find out why I have been falling, Erica, Dr Gills nurse was the first person to bring to my attention that ai was having an issue with my blood pressure having significant drop from sitting to standing. Thus was a start to my getting on right path to feeling better.

This first experience was not good. The appointment was at 9 am, and I waited two and half hours to see him for all of 5 minutes of his time, literally leaving me feeling clueless!

Difficult to get a follow up appointment

My wait was long. My appointment was at 9 am but I did not see the dr until 10:15. I don’t understand the length of time when I was the first patient that morning. There were no other patients in the waiting room when I got there.

I’ve been seeing Dr Gill for 4 years. He and Erica have been extremely compassionate and helpful with treating long term side effects of my concussion. In the beginning when scheduling an appointment during Covid may have incurred a lengthy wait, once my medical history was submitted online, he saw me the next day. He didn't hesitate to order tests and imaging to rule out more severe complications. I take comfort in knowing Dr Gill and Erica are knowledgeable, proactive, and willing to take time to listen to my symptoms. Their professionalism and concern for each patient is evident and greatly appreciated. I highly recommend Dr Gill and his staff!

I’ve had a neuropathy problem for years that no one was diagnosing the cause of properly. Dr Gill had tests run which indicated a possible cause not yet explored in my case. Dr Gill went through a lengthy process of testing (MRI’s and a lot of others). He determined that I needed neck surgery. Scared me, but I had been falling 3 or 4 times a month, and finally decided to go ahead with it. The surgery went fine, there was little pain afterwards. And I quit falling down. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for neurological issues.

Dr Gill and his PA are attentive and hear what you say. They then proceed and treat you.

Dr Gill takes time to understand your problem by listening to you carefully as a patient, then ask questions. His so concerned about his situations that, if you call him he will return your call that same day.

Staff was really nice and so was Dr. Gill. I love that they offer an option for virtual follow up visits. The building and office suite could use a sign though, because it was hard to find. Also, my wait was over 90 minutes. Other suggestions: 1. Use electronic forms rather than paper forms. This increases the likelihood of them getting completed before the visit and is more user-friendly to patients. 2. If wait times are consistently long, then that means you have a predictable schedule, albeit one that is predictably running long. If that is the case, then admit the reality of your visit durations and adjust your appointment slots accordingly. Patients waiting around does not increase the throughput, unless your no show rate is very high (say above 25%). The only way to see more patients is to either (a) see each one faster, or (b) work longer hours. If the doctors and staff always find themselves working longer hours, then simply acknowledge reality and extend your appointment book to match the real closing time. 3. Put the address or a link to the map in the text reminder. Appointments are made several months out and it is convenient for patients to simply click the map link. I recognize there may be character limits though.
